Ron Arsenault - Founder & President

Ron has a long history of helping companies grow profitable business by developing and executing "out of the box" marketing solutions.

Trained in communications media, Ron began his career at the Edmonton Journal managing the Obituaries and Notices section. Later, as account manager, Ron's campaigns won the "Foster Advertising Campaign of the Year" two years in a row. Shortly after, he was recruited by Chesebrough-Pond’s Inc. where he earned progressive assignments as Territory Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Administration Manager and National Sales Manager. Recruited by Revlon as Western Region Sales Manager, Ron was responsible for directing the Revlon and Charlie sales plans and leading 10 sales representatives to the attainment of planned goals. Ron moved to Okanagan Dried Fruit Ltd. as Director of Sales and Marketing, where he helped deliver an eight year compounded sales growth of over 40%. Ron partnered in an exit strategy that saw the sale of the company to Sun-Rype Products Ltd.

Since 2002, Ron has focused his energy on developing Internet sales and marketing solutions for web publishers like Snowboard.com, Skateboardvillage.com, Colonies.com, and Ultimate-Guitar.com. He has developed business with advertising partners: Apple iPod, ATI Technologies, Barq's, Coors Light, Doritos, Edge, FuelTV, Garnier Fructis, Greyhound, Heavenly Resort, Hershey, Honda, Jeep, Kokanee, Labatt's, McDonald's, Nissan, Playstation, Pontiac, Rogers Wireless, SkiDoo, SOBE, Suzuki, Sympatico MSN, Tropicana, The North Face, Toyota, Virgin Mobile, Warren Miller and Whistler.com.

Jacques Choquette - Graphic Design, Development & Programming

Jacques got started with web technology in his early teens with the Mosaic browser, and a 2400 baud modem. Jacques attended Ryerson University - School of Image Arts graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts In New Media. After university Jacques partnered with three of his classmates to found Lavapants Design which received accolades as one of the top 100 Canadian websites in 2001.

Jacques shifted his focus to freelance web development and over the next 3 years worked with various advertising agencies to develop numerous high profile websites for companies such as Taxi.ca, University of Toronto, Health Canada and many more. In 2004 Jacques moved to Whistler B.C. to work full time as the web designer for whistler.com, one of the most active websites in British Columbia. Jacques also worked as the lead on website development processes and web marketing programs.

In 2006 Jacques was recruited by Colonies.com, a web start-up company specializing in action sports. He was instrumental in the development of their web properties including Snowboard.com, Colonies.com and DigitalCameras.com.

Jacques, through his company Whistler Web & Print, has assited in the development of the clickTributes Platform. He provides clickTributes with day to day technical resources, architecture design, software design, maintenance and graphic design services.

Harold Wallace, Funeral Director - H.W. Wallace Cremation and Burial Centre Inc.

Harold has served in the funeral industry for over 20 years. He was born in St. John’s Nfld and graduated from the Funeral Service Program at Humber College in Etobicoke, Ontario. Harold and wife Michelle moved to Duncan, BC in 1992 where Harold worked with Arbor Memorial Services Inc. Michelle and Harold fulfilled their dream of opening their own Funeral Home in Duncan in March, 2008.

Harold is involved in numerous Service Clubs and community organizations. He is past President - Optimist Club of St. Catharines, past President - Kiwanis Club of Duncan and past President Cowichan Valley Shrine Club (2003 and 2005). His memberships include the Duncan Elks Home #69, Royal Canadian Legion #53, Moose Lodge, Confederation Lodge as well as an affiliate member of Temple Lodge.

 



jason everden, funeral director - everden rust funeral services and crematorium

Jason is a graduate of Penticton Secondary School and completed three years of study at the Okanagan University College in Kelowna. He apprenticed with Everden Rust Funeral Services in Penticton and Kelowna and received his Funeral Director and Embalmer's license from the British Columbia Funeral Director Apprenticeship Program, in 1998.

Jason has managed the Kelowna Everden Rust location since the retirement of Marvin Rust in 2004. He is an active Rotarian and has served as: board member of the Kelowna Sunrise Rotary Club; the Inaugural Cremation, Interment & Funeral Services Industry Advisory Group and Consumer Protection of British Columbia.



adam arsenault, BSC - Software Design engineer Microsoft

Adam is currently a member of the Education Team that develops educational features and products at Microsoft, in Redmond WA.

As SDE at Colonies.com, Adam lead several software development teams in social networking and ad serving and management software solutions; design, testing, deployment and migration of legacy ASP applications to ASP.NET. He administered dev and live databases, performance monitoring, tuning, site administration and data modeling.

With Manalta Coal, as IT Tech, Adam upgraded computer systems testing old software and hardware to ensure year 2000 compliancy.



Doug Stratton, CLU - Apple Planning Services & dundee Private Investors

Doug has over 30 years experience in financial services and is very active in the Penticton community. Doug is a member of Advocis; Past Chair of the Advocis Okanagan School; Is a member of the Skaha Rotary Club; and is a Director of the Penticton & District Hospice Society.

Doug provides financial advice, products and services assisting individuals and companies in identifying and achieving their financial objectives.
